Human Resources Manager

I’m Anne Cliatt, the Human Resources Manager at CCYSB.  My goal in supporting staff and organizations is to bring the human side to the business operations side.  I see my role as a guide and partner; I work hard to be an ally and seek common ground.  I care deeply about people’s well-being and bringing out their full human potential to the extent my role affords me.  I’ve been working in HR for about 10 years and completed the UC Berkeley Human Resources Management program.  My heart has always been in social work and serving community-based organizations.  Equity, diversity, and inclusion are big drivers for me (I want to invite all to the party and also make sure they can dance).  I’m a former social worker and have a degree in Social Work from UT Austin. I’ve been fortunate to work in non-profits that do impactful work in the community that match my core values.

Before I transitioned to HR, I helped lead programs for elders (with a focus on Holocaust Survivors) and those experiencing food insecurity in San Francisco. Some of the organizations I’ve been honored to work for are: LifeLong Medical Care, Sequoia Living, Zen Hospice Project, SF SPCA, SF-Marin Food Bank, Jewish Family & Children’s Services.  Fun fact: many moons ago, I was a case manager at 186 Broadway for East Bay Perinatal Council – working with teen parents.

Some of my loves: beautiful views in nature – I’m a sunrise/sunset chaser and photo taker. I’m working on learning how to play the hand-pan drum and I spend time daily, adventuring in parks with my pup, Sophia.  I consider myself a lover of all creatures great and small meaning I adore animals and have a 6th sense with them.  I love to host clothing swaps and have a former life in vintage!
