Ebony Blake

Care Coordinator

Ebony Blake is a Wraparound Facilitator with Contra Costa Youth Service Bureau (CCYSB). During her tenure with CCYSB, Ebony has been changing the lives of youth and families for 12 years. Ebony has been responsible for coordinating effective plans, launching summer youth programs,  collaborating with community leaders, and serving on the Steering Committee (Board of Directors) for Building Blocks for Kids from 2012-2015.[extra]

When Ebony is not at work for CCYSB she volunteering her time as a Parent Liaison for West Contra Costa Unified School District’s African American Student Achievement Team (AASAT) and a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Education Committee. Ebony also volunteer her time to the less fortunate in the community, help beautify women and children, as well as write and recite poetry.

When asked, what is Ebony’s drive and motivation her response is,“ helping my community to become a better place for my children and other children live.”
