Case Manager

Before coming to the Youth Services Bureau, Janet worked at the University of California at Berkeley. After 31 years of service, she retired to care for her mother and aunt. At UCB she honed her skills as a Research Administrator later becoming Supervisor of a team of eight that included pre and post award administration of multi-million-dollar federal grants and contracts that spanned 1 – 10 years.[extra] During her career she worked with federal agencies and the university to streamline processes making proposal submission smoother and less stressful for everyone involved. When not wrangling deadlines and forms you could find Janet transporting her son Charles to his many activities including football and karate. Now she is a Grandmother to Langston. Her grandson brings her immense joy. Janet enjoys reading, crocheting, music and exploring the Bay Area.
