LaTanya Houston

Care Coordinator

With over 15 years of dedicated service to youth and families, LaTanya Houston brings deep experience, compassion, and leadership to her role as a Facilitator with the Wraparound Program at Contra Costa Youth Service Bureau. A lifelong advocate for children and communities, she is committed to protecting, supporting, and enriching the lives of others through collaborative, strength-based approaches.[extra]

LaTanya began her career at CCYSB in 2006 as a Probation Case Manager and has since held several key roles, including Family Partner and Facilitator/Care Coordinator. In each role, she has focused on meeting the complex needs of youth with mental health and behavioral challenges, working closely with schools, families, and county systems to develop comprehensive treatment plans, safety strategies, and positive behavioral interventions. She briefly expanded her impact by working with Solano County Child Welfare before returning to CCYSB, reaffirming her commitment to the agency and the community.

In addition to her professional experience, she holds a B.A. in Psychology from Cal State East Bay, an A.A. in General Education from Diablo Valley College, and a Cosmetology Certificate from Laney College.

Known for her strong leadership, teamwork, and ability to navigate complex family dynamics, LaTanya is a trusted and respected member of the CCYSB team.
