Glenda Roberts

Glenda Roberts currently serves as the Kinship Program Manager along with 3 team members. I have been employed by the CCYSB for 15 years, starting out as a family partner, promoted to a facilitator and for the past 12 years managed the Kinship Program. Prior to working at CCCYSB: worked for the Contra Costa Child Care Council; Preschool teacher and director; retired from Pacific Bell, manager, 30 years of service. I am a lifelong resident of the city of Richmond. My commitment is to my family, community, church and this agency. I live, work, worship and socialize right here in Richmond. Education – I attended school through the Richmond Unified School District, graduated from Harry Ells High, received my AS in Early Childhood Development from Contra Costa College. An active member of various boards – Today’s Youth Matters, Foster Family Network, Contra Costa College Early Childhood Education Department.

Glenda is a team player, dependable, sense of humor, great organizational skills, communicate effectively and a great resource. Glenda loves to have a good time and enjoys meeting people. Glenda has two adult children, two grandchildren and just recently became a great grandmother.

Active member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Trustees and facilitator. I am passionate about children, their families and building a safe, peaceful and prosperous community.

Lorena Perez Hernandez

I am Lorena Perez Hernandez a Wraparound Facilitator. I have been a part of the CCYSB family since 2019, working and serving at-risk children, youth and their families in Contra Costa County. I have earned an Associate Degree at Contra Costa College and received a Bachelor’s Degree at California of the East Bay for Criminal Justice Law Enforcement. I enjoy serving our families and working in a cultural of diversity.

Delores Murray-Hill

Delores Murray Hill has been with  Contra Costa Youth Services Bureau for 5 years, working as a Kinship Mentor.  Delores retired from the City of Richmond in 2008 as a Supervising Legal Assistant in the City Attorney’s office.  She enjoys working with the staff and the many families of the Kinship Program.  It’s especially pleasing seeing the children as they grow and progress through Kinship.

Claudia Montoya-Mejia

I have been at YSB since 2007 working and serving families of diversity and I have volunteered with different agencies as a collaboration; (YMCA, YES, BBK, Nevin Center, and Escalate Center computer program) to provide family support, leadership, team building, and empowerment to be self-sufficient. I received my degree at Contra Costa Community College for Health Human Services Dual Diagnosis Specialization and Substance Abuse Case Management. I also have facilitated a Girls Group (Baby Butterflies ages 9-11 and Butterflies ages 12-17) to help these young ladies learned leadership Skills, community engagement, and career educational enhancement.

Annette Lewis

Annette Lewis has over 25 years’ experience working with children, families and individuals as an agent of support and guidance. Her professional life includes a commitment to serving the needs of children and families as a Mental Health Clinician. She has been a member of the Youth Service Bureau since 2007 and has in depth knowledge of psychosocial factors that impact underserved communities. She currently serves as Program Manager/Clinician for the Youth Service Bureau and supervises a team of Facilitators providing direct support to children and families, in West Contra Costa County. She received her master’s degree in social work emphasizing community mental health ,  from California State University East Bay in 2013 and is a  Licensed Clinical Social Worker as of 2021.
