Patricia Carrillo

Patricia has over 13 years of experience in the children and family mental health field. She holds a Marriage and Family Therapist licensure in the state of California and is fluent in Spanish. She obtained her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology and an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s College of California. She has experience working with youth from ages 5-18 of all backgrounds and most compassionate with children whose population ranges from children who need support due to family disruptions, crises such as death and separations to those in foster care. Her current at position at Contra Costa Youth Service Bureau is a Wraparound Program Manager where she leads the staff and manages the everyday operations of the program.

Alicia Carrillo

I am Alicia Carrillo Bilingual – Spanish: I have a B.A. degree in Psychology. I have been serving at CCYSB since 2006 to present day as a Differential Response PATH 2 Program Manager/Lead Case Manager. I come with a passion to serve the most challenged and at risk families. The focus of my work consist of working with Children and Family Services through a gentle and soft approach to keep family’s together and out the foster care system. I am always interested in learning and evolving as a professional and human being. YSB has become the cornerstone in my growth and development to properly serve the community in which I came from.

Harriett Curtis-Boles

Harriet Curtis-Boles, Ph.D. graduated from the Clinical Psychology Doctoral program at U.C. Berkeley in 1984. Over her years in the profession she was the Clinical Director of an out-patient mental health agency, provided direct clinical services in both private practice and a college counseling setting and provided consultation and training to many community based settings in the East Bay. She was a professor at the California School of Professional Psychology for 27 years and published a book and many journal articles on diversity and multiculturalism. She has been a consultant with YSB for the last 8 years where she provides clinical training, consultation and supervision. She is married and a proud mother and grandmother.

Ebony Blake

Ebony Blake is a Wraparound Facilitator with Contra Costa Youth Service Bureau (CCYSB). During her tenure with CCYSB, Ebony has been changing the lives of youth and families for 12 years. Ebony has been responsible for coordinating effective plans, launching summer youth programs,  collaborating with community leaders, and serving on the Steering Committee (Board of Directors) for Building Blocks for Kids from 2012-2015.

When Ebony is not at work for CCYSB she volunteering her time as a Parent Liaison for West Contra Costa Unified School District’s African American Student Achievement Team (AASAT) and a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Education Committee. Ebony also volunteer her time to the less fortunate in the community, help beautify women and children, as well as write and recite poetry.

When asked, what is Ebony’s drive and motivation her response is,“ helping my community to become a better place for my children and other children live.”

Onna Alexander

Onna Alexander, LCSW has been with the agency for 28 years and currently serves as the Clinical Director. Born in raised in West County she works in both our East and West county office sites.

Joanus Youngblood

My name is Joanus Youngblood,  I have been a Differential Response Path 2 Case Manager since 2015. I started working for YSB in 2010, assisting teens in the juvenile justice system, transition back into the community. During this time I was able to make several connections with our community partners,  and become more familiar with the resources available to our consumers. I was born and raised in the community, so I am relatable and I can identify with our families. The skills, connection, and experience I have gain in my personal life growing up in Contra Costa County, and years working with YSB has equipped me with the knowledge to successfully support our consumers navigate through the system and community to gain the services needed to succeed.

Lakeshia White

My name is Lakeshia White. I have been with the Contra Costa Youth Service Bureau 10 years. I began working as a Family Partner and was promoted to a Facilitator position where I have managed to provide Wraparound services to children and their families. Growing up I could never picture myself doing anything but working with children. I came from a large family and have experienced highs and lows which contributed to my desire to serve my community and give back. Over the course of working at the bureau I have received rewards for my outstanding work ethics and I am truly grateful for my accomplishments. I succeed at working with a team as much as I enjoy mutually sharing creative ideas that will support families during the Wraparound process. Additionally, I am enthusiastic and passionate about my role at the CCYSB. I have kept a keen interest in my position and will continue to thrive to assist families in getting their needs met. I am confident about my driven ability to make a difference in the lives of others.

Rodney Brown

Rodney “Alamo” Brown is a Richmond,CA. Native, he’s the founder of an award winning community outfit called Soulful Softball Sunday, Brown is an Author of a book entitled “If My Eyes Could Rewind” The Real Richmond,CA.Story. Brown was the first Richmond resident to own a Rap Record/Label Company, and record a rap song on 33 1/3 vinyl. In 1984 at the tender age of 17, he established Globe Town Records, In 1986 the label released a song entitled “The Task Force” which sold more than 20,000 copies throughout the Bay Area and West Coast region. Today, Brown works as a journalist/analysis for CBS Sports Digital Media/247 Sports/Bear Territory.net. He writes stories about the University of California Golden Bears football team.
